A Lab wouldn't be A Lab without the great members that make up our community. Get to know our newest members!

Sarvenaz Fassihi started as Managing Director at NOOR Images. Previously, she worked in Amsterdam as a strategist and consultant specializing in social impact and the creative and cultural industries. She has worked extensively with global non-profit organizations and has gained extensive experience with themes such as gender, the climate crisis, migration and social change. Born in Iran, Sarvenaz spent her childhood on many continents, fueling her love for intercultural cooperation and knowledge sharing.

Advertise For Yourself Foundation is an old acquaintance from A Lab. Here they taught the 3rd year students of IMCWeekendschool Amsterdam-Noord. The posters they make with them are and hang regularly in A Lab. Melle and Jaap focus on all young people who are not seen and heard enough and who have a lot to say. With a combination of poetry and photography, they encourage them to discover their own strength, talents and uniqueness. This contributes to a positive self-image. Previously, Melle and Jaap worked with young people in youth detention, youth care and special education. Now mainly with young refugees. They do this together with Vluchtelingenwerk, municipalities and ISK schools. The photo was taken in Oaxaca - Mexico where the duo taught at Mundo de Talentos - the local weekend school.

Phoebe Gallo is a creative strategist and digital marketer from the United States. She loves her work, hiking and yoga, and she enjoys going out with her dog Wilma. She loves to travel and has a love for Italy. “Great to meet you!”
